The two sides have not yet implemented large, typical strategic transport infrastructure projects; at the same time, they have not yet completely resolved the obstacles in some old cooperation projects. The number of Chinese enterprises participating in the construction of strategic transport infrastructure projects is still very modest, and no enterprises have participated in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).

The mechanism for mobilizing resources is difficult (not yet flexible and effective, with many problems). The specific framework for cooperation between the two countries in the field of strategic transport infrastructure has not been fully researched.

In the coming time, the Prime Minister asked the Chinese side to increase cooperation and support Vietnam with preferential capital, advanced technology, human resource training, and smart management in the field of strategic transport infrastructure.

The Prime Minister called on China’s large corporations and enterprises (both state-owned and private) to participate in investing, bidding, and constructing large works and projects in many different fields, especially Breakthrough fields such as transportation, digital transformation, green transformation, and renewable energy.
